You can have any member of your existing team trained to develop Creative Content that can be used across a variety of media including digital Social Media, Broadcast and Print.

On Completion your Apprentice will have the knowledge to be able to carry out (as a minimum) the list below:

• Analyse the differences between media campaigns aimed at retention, acquisition and conversion of customers for clients

• Identify & recommend the appropriate platforms or channels to use for the media campaign

• Present ideas, pitches and proposals for creative content to be further developed

• Ensure that the content being developed is organised, structured and labelled effectively and in a logical manner that allows for efficient search and retrieval

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers

• Understand the user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement

• Capture images and audio using basic video, still cameras and audio equipment

• Use lessons learned to evaluate the success of the campaign and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns

• Develop and maintain own competence and knowledge in specialist areas

What’s The Deal?

YOUR EMPLOYEE MUST... 

  • Have lived in the UK/EEA for past 3 years and currently live in England 

  • Apprentices must have previously attained 5 GCSE’s (A* - C) including English and Maths (Grade D will require additional function skills assessment) 

  • Cannot have another qualification at the same grade or higher (I.e. Marketing degree) 

  • Apprentices must be an employee of the business, rather than the owner or a partner 

  • Apprentices must complete 30 hours of paid work per week in a Digital Marketing Role

  • Apprentices must have a contract of employment and be paid an appropriate Apprenticeship rate in relation to their age

Funding

If an employer has 50 or more members of staff then they are required to contribute 5% (£550) towards the training costs, with the Government funding the remaining 95%. 

If an employer has less then 50 members of staff and the apprentice is under 19 then the government pay 100% of the training costs, if the apprentice is 19 or older then the employer is required to contribute 5% (£550) towards the training costs, with the government funding the remaining 95%. 

If the employer has an annual pay bill over 3 million then the apprenticeship will be funded through the employer’s apprenticeship levy contributions. 

If your apprentice is age 16 to 18 then your business will qualify for a £1000 incentive grant .

Incentives are paid in 2 instalments. Firstly on 3 months and at the end of the first year. 

As well as completing the course, the apprentice will also receive 1-2-1 mentoring throughout the programme and guaranteed training for writing great content on all the major online platforms needed for business.
